Laura has worked in the insurance industry for more than 10 years, providing exceptional customer service and trusted advice. She joined Steer in January 2020 and quickly became an integral part of the personal lines team. Laura is focused on customers’ needs and expectations, and she is always looking to further her insurance knowledge and skills to their benefit.
Laura obtained her Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) license in 2009 and started working as an insurance advisor for one of the largest property and casualty brokerages in Canada, in their personal lines group. Before moving to Steer, she also worked as an in-house underwriter for a Toronto-based brokerage.
Laura was born, raised and educated in Romania. She and her husband moved to Canada in 2007. Laura lives in downtown Toronto and in her spare time she enjoys reading, travelling and learning about nutrition and a healthy lifestyle.
