With over 10 years of management experience in the e-commerce and tech startup industries, Shannon brings a wealth of expertise in delivering exceptional support to her clients and team. Since joining Steer in 2019, she has continuously pursued professional development opportunities to enhance her knowledge and became RIBO licensed in 2020. Since then, she has earned the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation and completed the RIBO management exam. In her various roles at Steer, she exhibits agility and organization. Her adaptability, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills contribute to her clients’ success.
Along with supporting critical operational projects within the firm, Shannon has experience providing insurance advice for clients spanning various industries, including beauty and health, life sciences and professional firms.
Originally from Nova Scotia, Shannon received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Western Ontario and went on to study pastry in New York at The Culinary Institute of America.
Outside of work, Shannon loves spending time with her family in the Toronto Harbourfront. Her recent sailboat acquisition reflects her adventurous spirit, which she balances with a love for baking, reading, yoga, and the occasional “friendly” game of cards.
