Graeme Markell

Since joining the industry in 2015, Graeme has held a variety of underwriting roles with large Canadian and international Insurers including Northbridge, AIG and Liberty Mutual.

During his time as an underwriter, Graeme focused on specializing in the Management Liability space and used his unique underwriting approach to tailor policies to meet the specific needs of Insureds. Prior to joining Steer, Graeme was the small and medium enterprise lead for fiduciary liability and was helping to improve cross border programs for large multinational clients. Graeme currently holds his Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation and is working on his Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) designation.

Graeme lives in Toronto and is on a mission to try the top 100 restaurants in Toronto. He is an avid golfer, has caddied a Canadian PGA tour event and recently celebrated a hole-in-one.
